WHOLE LOTTA ROSIES is an award-winning, highly acclaimed AC/DC tribute brand based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2000 by guitarist Trudi Starr, WLR has been bringing the raw power and pure rock ’n’ roll energy of AC/DC to stages across the country and beyond for more than two decades.

In 2000, WHOLE LOTTA ROSIES made history as the first all-female tribute band. ANYWHERE.

That groundbreaking achievement became an enduring part of the WLR legacy and helped open the door for more women to build tribute bands of their own.

WHOLE LOTTA ROSIES has built an impressive performance history on legendary stages, major festivals and international military tours, including:

• Iconic Venues: House of Blues, The Whisky a Go-Go, The Viper Room, The Lighthouse Cafe, Garden Amphitheatre.
• Major Rallies & Festivals: Sturgis Bike Week, Rockin’ the Rivers, Three Forks, Montana, Florida Bike Week, Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally, Motor Mountain Weekend, Ruidoso, NM,  the AC/DC Fan Convention in Oslo, Norway, Portland Bike and Boat Show, and the ROCK FOR RONNIE JAMES DIO Stand Up to Cancer Benefit Concert. 
• Global Performances: Multiple MWR tours performing for U.S. troops across Japan, Bosnia, Sarajevo, Kosovo, Germany and South Korea.

The Rosies have shared the stage with major national acts including THE FOO FIGHTERS, ALICE COOPER, MSG, LOVERBOY, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, TOMMY TUTONE, LIT, FUEL and LITA FORD. 

In 2026, WHOLE LOTTA ROSIES celebrates 26 years in the music business with recent performances at the legendary Viper Room on the Sunset Strip with Tommy Tutone, a return to the Garden Amphitheatre in Orange County, a featured performance at the iconic Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach for Legendary Ladies of Rock, and a performance at the annual ROCK FOR RONNIE benefit concert in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with LITA FORD, DIO DISCIPLES, Jason Charles Miller, Led Zepagain and more.

Fans can expect a setlist spanning five decades of AC/DC classics, including Back in Black, Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, Sin City, Dirty Deeds and, of course, Whole Lotta Rosie.
