Stacy Lip - Lead Vocalist

Stacy Lip is a seasoned professional.  Raised in the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley, her love of music started at an early age.  She grew up with the influences of early Motley Crue mixed with the heavy hand of Metallica.

Stacy played various instruments early on in her career, but it was when she grabbed the mic and belted out 'Back in Black' by AC/DC that she discovered her voice!

Stacy has written and recorded 2 full length albums with her original band, Slippery Lip, which gained incredible notoriety and a massive following throughout the Los Angeles music scene.  She has also written lyrics and melody lines for countless other musical projects.  Stacy was selected, among a sea of female singers, in the position as the lead vocalist for The Valley Dolls, an international, all-female rock n roll cover band.  This is when she met Trudi, founder and rhythm guitarist of Whole Lotta Rosies.

Stacy sang for Whole Lotta Rosies at numerous shows throughout the years, including sold out concerts at the House of Blues.  In 2021 Stacy joined the Rosies as a permanent member of the band.  "The current lineup is comprised of the finest musicians, anywhere.  I'm the luckiest girl!  I get to play festivals and tour with these beautiful, talented women!"  ~Stacy Lip

Melanie Sisneros has been playing in the Los Angeles music scene for over 20 years in various rock and metal original bands and tributes.  While she hails from a musical family, she didn’t dive into bass guitar until she moved out of her childhood home for a college dorm and used her school book money to buy her first bass.  Since then, she has played in original bands such as Raven Mad, New Eden, Crescent Shield, Deathriders and a brief stint in Finland’s Sinergy.

She has performed on Crescent Shield’s The Last of My Kind (2006, Cruz Del Sur Records) and The Stars of Never Seen (2008, Cruz Del Sur Records).  She also appeared with New Eden on a pre-release version of Stagnant Progression (2001) and tribute CDs to Black Sabbath, AC/DC and UFO put out by WWIII Records.

Trudi Keck - Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals

Trudi’s passion for music started at an early age, playing a keyboard by ear that her Grandma gave to her and a vintage classical guitar that her Dad gave to her.  Growing up in Spokane, WA, Trudi loved going to see the Rock concerts there and was heavily influenced by Van Halen, The Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, and of course, AC/DC!

Trudi was born and raised in Spokane, WA, but you could say she “grew up” musically in Los Angeles where she moved to right out of college.

Now a veteran of the LA music scene, Trudi recalls how it all started; “The LA music scene in the 1990s and early 2000 was flooded with male bands, and male tribute bands.  I was playing guitar in an all-female cover band project, doing songs from Heart, The Go-Go’s and Pat Benatar, but the songs weren’t really resonating with me.  One night in 2000,  I was out at a club watching an original male dominated band with a female lead singer.  The band diverted from their original songs and went into a Led Zeppelin cover.  The crowd went crazy. I thought to myself;  if a crowd goes this crazy for one female and 4 guys doing a cover of a Led Zeppelin song, how crazy would they go for 5 females belting out hits from AC/DC, the greatest Rock n Roll band of all time?  And the idea for ‘Whole Lotta Rosies’ – LA’s All Girl AC/DC Tribute band was born.

“We had our first show in April 2001 at the Coconut Teazer on the famous Sunset Strip, and it really took off from there.  We were the FIRST all-girl AC/DC tribute band ANYWHERE, and that is a lot to be proud of”, says Trudi.

The band quickly became a national and international success story, opening for national acts, touring for the U.S. Troops overseas, and playing venues, festivals and events all over the country. (See BAND bio for more)

“I am beyond proud of the opportunities and experiences we have as a band.  It really is beyond any of my wildest dreams. And to get to experience everything that we get to do, with the talented musicians that make up Whole Lotta Rosie’s, just brings me so much joy!” ~Trudi
